Ripple Labs has announced a new president as the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) lawsuit against its payments platform nears completion.
in a new company blog postRipple said the company’s senior vice president and general manager, Monica Long, will be promoted to president.
As Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse put it,
Even in the current challenging crypto environment, Monica has helped guide Ripple to a very unique place of growth and financial strength. I am grateful for the opportunity to work even more closely with her as she begins her role as president.”
Long started at Ripple in 2013 when the company had just 10 employees and was promoted to the position of General Manager in 2020. To tell She is eager to get things started as the company’s new president.
