Microsoft and cross-chain protocol Axelar have announced an enterprise partnership in which the two companies will work together on interoperability and Web3 integration between Web2 systems.
The technology giant and crypto platform will work to develop blockchain implementations that support all types of users, from global enterprises to Web3 startups.
Axelar Joins Microsoft’s Azure Marketplace
and announcement Axela said on July 11 that the partnership will also explore ways to integrate artificial intelligence (AI) within the public blockchain ecosystem. The partnership will bring the blockchain company to Microsoft’s Azure marketplace.

As a result of this partnership, Microsoft customers will be able to access Axelar’s blockchain solutions using the Azure Marketplace. Thousands of Microsoft’s cloud computing partners use the Azure Marketplace for software discovery and integration.
Microsoft and Axelar are also eyeing hybrid blockchain efforts aimed at connecting private and public blockchains. The plan is to leverage Azure OpenAI services to bring new experiences to Web3 users.
