NFT project owner fed up @steveaoki Do you agree with your project and drop the floor? Here are a few lines of code you can add to your contract to prevent this from happening. With this code, he will never hurt you or your owner. pic.twitter.com/3Xb4iC5eND

“With this code, he cannot harm you or your owner.”

What is Aoki’s curse?
According to community members, NFT collection floor prices tend to drop whenever a celebrity DJ announces a purchase.
This scenario has been repeated several times, and the NFT community calls this phenomenon a “curse.”
For example, after Mr. Aoki bought Moonbirds NFT, the lowest price for the collection plummeted from over 30 ETH to 22 ETH.
The same situation unfolded when he played bought Azuki NFT. The minimum and minimum price for the collection was 36 ETH, but after Aoki revealed that he had purchased the collection, the price dropped significantly.
Is Aoki’s curse real?
While some within the community believe Aoki’s curse is real, it could explain the drop in value of most of the NFTs he purchased.
In the case of Azuki NFT, Aoki broke into the collection around the same time the collection’s founders publicly admitted to abandoning three different projects before creating Azuki.
Meanwhile, some of his purchases came amid an industry-wide crypto market crash that paralleled a decline in NFT trading activity. All of this has contributed to the depreciation of some of these NFT collections.
Aoki remains an avid NFT collector
Despite his NFT acquisition myth, Aoki remains a top NFT collector with projects like Azuki, Bored Apes, Moonbirds, Goblintown and 3Landers in his collection.
Aoki is not only an avid collector, he also has his own collection of NFT avatars in The Sandbox. Before that, he launched the Dream Catcher series, A0K1VERSE.
