The gaming industry learns fast, so anything can be turned into an NFT, but it really has to be the one that has the right to do so. Some marketplaces, including GameStop, have even found themselves having to remove unauthorized game NFTs from their platforms.
The latest of these incidents Activisionwas accused of listing skins plagiarized Added to the Call of Duty: Warzone game.
A case of plagiarism?
The allegedly plagiarized skin was first featured in Deadrop, an NFT game developed by Dr. Disrespect. The similarities between the two skins were noted by fans on Twitter who were outraged by the apparent plagiarism.

Sadly, this isn’t the first time Activision has been accused of plagiarism. Because I previously deleted his Loyal Samoyed skin which is very similar to one made by another developer.
