Athletic apparel company PUMA has become the latest brand to enter the Metaverse. According to the latest press release, the company has released Black Station, a metaverse website.
With this new website, Puma has also released an NFT that offers redeemable physical sneakers. This ties in with the FUTROGRADE show at New York Fashion Week.
By all indications, Black Station is meant to act as a “blank canvas” of sorts for the brand, which will change as the web3 project comes to fruition. When users log on to the site, they see three portals. In two of them you’ll see the Nitro NFRNO and Nitro Fastroid sneakers, part of PUMA’s NFT Nitropass mint.
Nitro Pass holders have access to two NFTs. One of which he offers physical sneakers and the other is associated with custom experiences. These two portals will open on his September 7th, 2022, and reward collection will take place after that. new york fashion week.
