Iconic Swedish artist Hilma af Klint will make her Metaverse debut through the NFT collection, backed by Pharrell Williams. Goda NFT platform. The paintings sold as NFT are all of his 193 canvases that Clint painted for the Temple Paintings (1906-15) project.
These NFTs will be streamed live on Goda. November 14, 2022In addition to the publicly available NFTs, there is also a second edition housed in Bokfrlaget Stolpe, publisher of Klint’s catalog.
It’s worth noting that Clint’s work has enjoyed tremendous popularity over the last few years. For example, an exhibition of her work at New York’s Guggenheim Museum in 2018 broke attendance records and broke the hit cinema’s recent biographies. Given the acceptance modern audiences have for Clint’s work and her life, the Goda team thinks her NFT debut is timely.
