Arkansas-based Arvest Bank has entered into a five-year partnership with Google Cloud to accelerate its digital transformation strategy.
Community banks say they are planning to overhaul their current IT systems, including migrating their data centers to Google Cloud. It also aims to leverage Google Cloud’s AI and machine learning tools to improve the customer experience and streamline services.
In September 2021, Arvest Bank selected Thought Machine’s Vault as its new core banking system. We are also working with Accenture to modernize middle office systems for retail and corporate banking.
“Rapid changes in consumer financial needs and behavior impose unprecedented demands on technology and speed of execution, along with expectations of consistent customer engagement across channels,” said Kevin Sabin, CEO of Arvest. ..
Migrating to the cloud is another key element of our transformation.
Laura Merling, Arvest’s Chief Transformation and Operations Officer, adds that the move to the cloud will help drive sustainability and reduce carbon emissions for businesses.
Serving more than 110 communities in Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri and Oklahoma, Arvest Bank manages more than $ 26 billion in assets. With a network of over 200 banking offices, we offer loans, deposits, financial management, credit cards, mortgages and mortgage services.
