Welcome to CryptoArt Sundays, one of the most popular columns of the week!meet EKTZa professional illustrator from Ireland.
EKTZ has been an illustrator for over 11 years and she loves drawing beautiful images and experimenting with different art media such as digital art and NFTs. So let’s take a closer look at NFT’s journey as an artist and what she thinks about the future of the field!
How did you find out about the NFT space and what drew you to creating your own NFT?
Actually, I learned about the existence of NFT two months before joining the company! I’ve seen videos of Fewocious and his success, but I wasn’t sure how it worked. Six months later, NFTs were gaining traction on social media, so I figured it all out and decided to join. The appeal of making your own NFT was the idea of being able to create your own artwork with your own meaning behind it. For about a year before that, I was working on freelance projects and commissioned work as I didn’t have time for personal work.
How often do you create them?
My creation pattern can be up and down. A break of several days is required between works. Otherwise, you’ll burn out, or worse, ruin the work you’re working on. So normally he does no art at all, two days, then two weeks or so of just art and nothing else.
what is your creative process?
My creative process is also up and down! I have an inspiration folder over the years on my laptop where I store all the paintings, photos, movie scenes, etc. that inspire me. I’m very inspired by anime now, and I want to incorporate more of that into my work.
Are there any CryptoArtists you would like to collaborate with?
Oh yeah, there are a lot of people who want to collaborate! What’s big from the top of my head liquid rose I was a fan of his even before he joined NFT.the other one is Splitillatealso an artist I had looked up to for years before she joined. Vhox_ who I actually already collaborated with. It was such a wonderful and happy experience for me. She’s a lovely person too!
Well, I would be very happy if I could collaborate with Vhox again
What do you think the future of CryptoArt will look like?
We believe we are just at the beginning of the future of CryptoArt. NFTs and cryptocurrencies are inextricably linked, so at the moment NFTs are following cryptocurrency trends. Many say that NFTs are dead when cryptocurrencies are in a bear market, but that is simply not true. They go nowhere, they just follow the waves that run into the ocean, and when the tide returns, they come with it.
What are you working on now?
Everything I’m working on right now is top secret! All I can say is that we have some big collaborations coming up, so stay tuned!
Where can collectors find your work?
you can find my job here.
