Over a billion people around the world celebrate Lunar New Year, and now you can join in on the Metaverse festivities. This looks like Decentraland will hold a three-day New Year’s Eve within Dragon City, one of the communities on the platform.
Dubbed the ‘Fantastic Land Festivals’, these celebrations will run from January 21-23, 2023 and feature musical performances, cultural experiences, activities and spectacular giveaways.
“This is our third year celebrating Lunar New Year in Decentraland. Dragon City will host FantasticLand Festival 2023 for three consecutive days!” the event page says.

The star-studded schedule of performances includes artists from across the Chinese region. Within their troupe, they feature traditional styles in the shape of the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra and the modern beats of Cantopop. Also, as we approach New Year’s Eve, Yigu Xiao and He He Sheng will serenade guests with a special performance.
