Freedom Bank of Virginia has partnered with US-based fintech Autobooks to launch a new digital billing and payment solution for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs).
A suite of digital tools to support small businesses will be integrated into Freedom Bank’s online and mobile banking platform.
Community Bank business clients can now create professional invoices and send them directly to their customers. Each invoice includes a “Pay Now” button that recipients can use to securely pay using their credit card or Automated Clearinghouse (ACH). ) payment.
Businesses don’t incur monthly fees and instead only pay merchant fees generated by credit card transactions and ACH payments from customers.
Freedom Bank CEO Joe Thomas said the new service adds to a suite of online “essential money management tools you can only expect from a large bank” designed for small businesses.
Headquartered in Fairfax, Virginia, Freedom Bank provides commercial banking, personal banking and mortgage solutions with a focus on businesses, property owners and professionals.
Detroit-based Autobooks provides banking solutions that facilitate payments, manage cash flow, and automate accounting.
In June, the company raised a $50 million Series C round led by Macquarie Capital Principal Finance.
