Google Cloud set to accept crypto payments via Coinbase

First, Google Cloud allows selected customers (initially from the Web3 ecosystem) to pay for cloud services in cryptocurrencies of their choice through Coinbase Commerce, a platform for merchants around the world to accept crypto payments. I can.

Additionally, the partnership will give Web3 developers access to Google’s BigQuery cryptographic public datasets powered by Coinbase Cloud Nodes across major blockchains. This integration allows developers to “quickly and reliably operate Web3-based systems without the need for expensive and complex infrastructure.”

Google also uses Coinbase Prime. Coinbase Prime is an integrated solution that provides secure custody and an advanced trading platform for institutional investors and businesses.

Finally, Coinbase plans to leverage Google Cloud’s computing platform to process blockchain data “at scale” and expand the global reach of its crypto services via Google’s fiber optic network. . Coinbase also plans to build a global data platform on Google’s infrastructure to provide machine learning-driven cryptocurrency insights to customers.
