McFarlane Toys Eyes Digital Glory with Custom NFT Marketplace

A legend in the comics world and a famous toy maker, Todd McFarlanehas formed successful partnerships with Polygon and Rarible to launch a bespoke NFT marketplace under his ‘McFarlane Toys’ brand that allows fans to buy, trade and share digital collectibles.

through the platform mcfarlane toys attempts to recreate the detail, quality and price of physical items featuring amazing characters from everyone’s favorite movies, TV shows, music and video games. Each one is meticulously crafted to offer the avid collector the ultimate keepsake.

According to the announcement, McFarlane Toys will create digital collectibles based on items in its current portfolio while also bundling NFTs with their highly popular physical counterparts. Once owned, the collector can operate his NFT via an in-house app. Upon access, users will earn points that can be redeemed for access to rare collectibles, select rewards, and future drops.

First NFT arrives December 1st^stfeaturing McFarlane’s very own “Spawn” comic book series, closely followed by a wide range of additional collectibles from McFarlane’s Toy Vault. Anyone who spends $100 or more using the code “digital” will receive a free Spawn NFT.
