Messari, a leading blockchain analytics and crypto market intelligence firm, has acquired the assets and business of funding data platform Dove Metrics, Coinjournal learned from a press release.
The acquisition will allow Messari to integrate Dove Metrics’ dashboards into its own systems, and it plans to add more features to make it more useful to operations, the company said. press release.

Track funding data in real time
According to Messari, the acquisition of Dove Metrics’ assets and business will enhance its services and offerings with greater data transparency, especially around funding the ecosystem.
Eric Turner, Messari’s vice president of market intelligence, said Dove Metrics’ technology will give users the tools they need to stay on top of what’s happening in the market. Among the benefits, he added, is the ability to monitor in real time which top of his projects are backed by investors.
Dove Metrics has collected data from top venture capital funds, hedge funds, corporate funds, investment DAOs, angels and more to monitor over 8,000 investors who have participated in multiple crypto funding rounds.
The platform also tracks approximately 3,000 funding rounds, of which over 300 are individual fund fundraising activities. The dataset also includes details on his 200 mergers and acquisitions (M&As) in the crypto ecosystem.
Dove Metrics was co-founded by two individuals veteran in the world of cryptocurrency investing, Regan Bozman and Pierre Chuzeville (also members of early-stage cryptocurrency venture capital fund Lattice).
