Well-known cryptocurrency investor NFT God is the owner of the messed-up mutant Bored Ape NFT they call Henry, after clicking on a sponsored download link for Google’s popular streaming app OBS. , all cryptocurrencies and other digital assets were stolen.
“I lost my life-changing net worth” read the top post thread (opens in new tab) On NFT God’s Twitter account. Here in this space where they post “Daily Tips on Personal Growth” the thread goes into rich narrative detail about the incident ( Web3is going great (opens in new tab)).
“I was sitting on the couch feeling numb. I knew this was just the beginning. This wasn’t a compromise for my wallet. My entire digital life was under attack.” After erasing and resetting the password, the post continues.
Not only have all NFT God wallets been emptied, but his personal Twitter has been compromised, 1% improvement business account. Moreover, their family, friends and followers have received messages full of links to him, phishing him to meet the same fate, including his 16,000 Substack followers.

It’s a little crazy how cryptocurrency investors can easily ruin their entire lives with a few small mistakes.
user @suthie86 (opens in new tab) I managed to snipe the NFT God’s Bored Ape after it was stolen. Henry now appears to be safely at home with his owner. I believe the transaction was around 16.65 ETH (he’s $25,800 at the time of writing). This is basically the price Dr. 1% Better over here originally paid. No ransom is charged here.
Subsequent posts on NFT God’s 1% Better account seem to reflect the recent turmoil. “The only way to guarantee growth is discomfort.”
So at least they may have learned something from the experience.
