To purchase NFTs from myNFT vending machines, customers simply selected one of the envelopes on display and entered the code provided.After paying 10 via apple pay, Google Pay Or I received a card with a QR code as an alternative contactless payment method.
After setting this up and completing their NFT wallet, they received up to 1,000 worth of NFTs. myNFT’s first NFT collection included an assortment of iconic NFTs created by brands such as Dr. Who Worlds Apart, thunderbird, Delft Blue Night Watch etc.
One of myNFT’s main goals was to remove the barriers to entry into the NFT space. We want to provide an easy way for anyone who wants to start buying and trading digital assets. The vending machine symbolizes the simplicity of myNFT’s platform, creating a fun and engaging process for purchasing NFTs.
There is so much potential in the NFT market and we see some of it wasted when various unnecessary and complicated barriers deter potential new entrants from participating. Great opportunities such as gas bills, gatekeeping knowledge, and complex digital wallet setups are being denied and wasted on newcomers. Hugo McDonoughco-founder of myNFT said in a statement:
We are determined to turn NFTs into a daily activity for everyone and move out of the current faction, added McDonaugh. The best way for the sector to grow is through public engagement and we intend to achieve that only by breaking down barriers. It’s a fun and quirky way to show it.”
myNFT is currently looking for a more permanent location for its vending machines. Several events have also asked if we could have vending machines for events around the world, he added.
myNFT is currently in beta. A customer can already access the platform to buy and sell his NFTs on Ethereum, Moonbeam, Moonriver, Polygon and Binance smart chain networks. You can also sell his NFTs using the new GBM auction system. Pipeline also has many other features coming soon to myNFT. These include next-generation NFT mining tools, multi-currency NFT listings, tokengate experiences, and integration of other blockchain networks into the platform.
