New York-based contemporary gallery Pace Gallery art block. During startup October 10, 2022the new project is an NFT release titled “QWERTY”.
This work is not only part of a collaboration between the two, but also artist Tara Donovan’s first NFT project. This collection includes her 500 Generative Her Pieces and is deeply connected to the artist’s drawings of her on screen.
The theme behind this collection is ‘types’ and how they help create patterns. This project uses 26 characters and 30 symbols, each designed with a different level of readability.
“Each NFT in this series represents a rhythmic and mesmerizing arrangement of a single letter or symbol repeated on a computer keyboard.‘, says the collection description.
presented by the gallery First 56 people When you mint one of these NFTs, you will receive an archival pigment print of the NFT from the artist and Pace Verso. However, the actual presentation of the NFT will take place at Frieze London 2022 from 12th to 16th October 2022.
NFTs will be sold exclusively on the Artblocks website and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to charity.
