Retail trading giant Robinhood says it is working hard on incorporating Dogecoin (DOGE) into its new cryptocurrency wallet product.
Robinhood just launched a new wallet this week and is rolling it out to over 1 million users.
The new product operates as a standalone smartphone app that allows users to trade crypto assets, access decentralized apps (DApps), and store non-fungible tokens (NFTs).
Web3 Wallet uses the layer 2 scaling solution Polygon (MATIC) to allow swaps without network fees and also supports the leading smart contract platform Ethereum (ETH). Customers can transfer and trade over 50 tokens.
However, some crypto traders on Twitter questioned when Robinhood will extend support to major memecoins.
According to Robin Hood,
“Don’t worry, we are working hard to support DOGE.”

DOGE is trading around $0.086 at the time of writing. The 9th largest crypto asset by market capitalization is up 5.41% over the past 24 hours. It’s also up nearly 25% since the beginning of 2023. However, despite DOGE’s recent price hike, it is down more than 88% from its all-time high of $0.731 set in May 2021.
