Trading giant Robinhood launches new crypto wallet supporting a handful of prominent altcoins on Apple’s mobile operating system.
new blog post, Robinhood now makes Web3-enabled wallets available to all iOS customers worldwide, adding support for crypto assets including Shiba Inu (SHIB), layer 2 scaling solution Polygon (MATIC) and Ethereum (ETH) made it clear. .
Other digital assets supported by the wallet include Solana (SOL), Uniswap (UNI), and the stablecoin USD Coin (USDC).
The update was added to the wallet after the company incorporated user feedback from last year’s beta release, according to Johann Kerbat, general manager of Robinhood’s crypto branch.

Users love the accessibility and ease of use of the app, and say they really enjoy being able to self-manage their digital assets with Polygon and exchange them without network fees. They also said they wanted access to more coins on more chains, which is why they quickly added support for Ethereum. ”
Robinhood has said it plans to make the wallet compatible with the Android operating system later this year, though no specific date has been given. The trading giant also mentions that it plans to support more tokens and release a Web3 browser.
