Shiba Inu Teases New Crypto Projects As Dogecoin Rival Prepares to Launch Major Ecosystem Expansion

The lead developer behind Shiba Inu’s massive ecosystem expansion gives us a glimpse of some of the first crypto projects that may be launched on the network.

Shiba Inu is building a Layer 2 protocol on Ethereum similar in concept to projects such as Polygon, Arbitrum and Optimism.

Called Sibarium, this protocol allows people to launch custom crypto projects and tokens that are basically built on and functioning on the Shiba Inu (SHIB).

As the team prepares for the beta release, pseudonymous lead developer Shytoshi Kusama details his initial expectations for Discord.

So far, the team behind Shibarium has not announced an official launch date for the Layer 2 network, but says a beta version is coming soon.
