Niukus SocietyA New Orleans-based Web3 company has launched a Mardi Gras-themed NFT that offers special perks to owners. The carnival-themed event kicked off on his February 21st, and Niuex found a way to utilize his NFTs to grant special access. So for $160 you get an NFT pass with access to food and drink.
Additionally, the pass provides access to private parties, exclusive performances, special events, and even restrooms along the parade route. Interestingly, the latter has drawn ridicule online because some people fail to understand that a pass is required to access the restrooms. It cannot be underestimated.
That said, the Mardi Gras-themed NFT consists of a collection of 5,000 AI-generated digital collectibles. These NFTs will be available for purchase later this week.

NFTs are becoming more and more popular as access paths due to their unique properties. Last August, a New York restaurant tried to use them for reservations, but faced backlash similar to what the New His Society faces with its Mardi Gras washroom pass. Some have even gone so far as to describe them as: Grifter A person who sells unlicensed securities.
However, it looks like this use case will continue, as NFT paths make tracking and proof of ownership easier. So far there are several businesses using them, such as Flyfish Club. Its NFT gives owners access to the finest seafood restaurants. However, it is not cheap as it will be around 2.7 ETH.
