After moving a ton of Bitcoin (BTC) and (ETH) over the weekend, crypto whales are now moving millions of dollars in the XRP and Metaverse project sandboxes (SAND).
Crypto whale tracker Whale Alert has spotted four large XRP transactions in the last 24 hours, moving a total of $126 million.
Maximum single transfer moved 205.5 million XRP worth $81.7 million from one unknown wallet to another unknown wallet.
The remaining whale transfers sent XRP to and from a number of cryptocurrency exchanges. This suggests that large investors may have bought and sold large amounts of digital assets.
Here’s a look at some additional big XRP moves for the final day.
Meanwhile, as the new week begins, whales holding the Ethereum-based metaverse altcoin The Sandbox (SAND) are also moving millions of dollars in cryptocurrency.
One of the transfers sent SAND from an unknown wallet to cryptocurrency exchange Binance, where it could be sold on the open market.
In total, XRP and SAND whales moved a whopping $202 million in just 6 trades.
According to Whale Stats, 0.74% of the 1,000 largest Ethereum wallets in existence currently hold SAND.
The top altcoin holdings among these Ethereum whales are currently Tether (USDT) at 17.14%, Shiba Inu (SHIB) at 15.89%, and US Dollar Coin (USDC) at 15.86%.
