Eve Picker, founder of Small Change

Be realistic about the pros and cons of building your business. Let’s start with the negative. You will probably have trouble raising funds. After all, only 2-3% of her VC funding goes to women. You can choose to let that statistic discourage you, or move forward and refuse to give up. If you persevere, you have a very good chance of becoming a trailblazer for other women. And that brings me another positive point. Building a business, especially a forward-looking, future-oriented business is a great experience. Fintech is the future, and so are women.
Mariana Bulic, Product Owner at Zumo
