Alchemy Pay gets license to operate in Indonesia: ACH price surging

After licensing, both companies will offer a low-cost payment method. Alchemy Pay in particular has expanded its service in Asia, and regulatory approval in Indonesia is a big plus for the company.

Bank Indonesia has listed Berkah Digital as a License Category 3 payment service provider. Previously, the company was known for its BDPay platform, which offers cross-border and local money transfer services for cooperative and retail customers. It also handles payroll and remittances through the bank’s application programming interface (API). Users can use the platform to transfer funds to 136 banks within Indonesia.

Alchemy pay, on the other hand, offers a simple cryptocurrency gateway that supports Mastercard, Google Pay, Apple Pay, Visa, among other regional mobile wallets, including BDPay. In addition to Indonesia, Alchemy Pay’s platform is now legal in about 18 countries.

Besides being based in Singapore, Alchemy Pay is a leading global crypto-to-fiat payment platform and has established many partnerships with giants such as the Binance cryptocurrency exchange. It will become a major crypto player in Indonesia, especially since it also has a virtual crypto link card program.
