Coinbase wallet users can now earn yield via liquid staking on the Ankr staking platform.
Ankr, one of the world’s leading Web3 infrastructure providers, has added Coinbase Wallet support for liquid staking.
According to a press release shared with Coinjournal, Ankr said that all Coinbase Wallet users can now liquidate their stake on the Ankr Staking platform. This latest development allows users to earn interest on the assets they hold in their Coinbase Wallet.
Ankr added that the integration comes after many requests from users. With Coinbase Pay, the user can seamlessly connect her Coinbase exchange account to her Coinbase wallet, and he can also connect to Ankr, the team added.
To use this feature, users must connect Ankr Staking to the Coinbase Wallet browser extension when prompted.
Users can also connect the Coinbase Wallet app dApp browser to the Ankr Staking platform to take advantage of this feature via their smartphones. This also means that a user can easily track staked assets from her Ankr Staking dashboard tab or her DeFi tab on his Coinbase Wallet.
Josh Neuroth, Head of Product at Ankr, commented on this latest development:
The ability to connect Coinbase Wallet is one of the most requested features on Ankr Staking. We always want to make sure our stakers are happy while providing a monetization solution to as many new participants as possible.
Coinbase Wallet’s built-in dApp browser gives users easy access to leading dApps and DeFi protocols. It also allows users to send, receive, and bridge assets on the interface, helping them choose different networks to hold their assets, such as Polygon and Ethereum.
Ankr has revealed that it currently supports staking nine tokens on its platform. Ankr (ANKR) and Gnosis (mGNO) tokens can be used for delegated staking, while platforms are Ethereum (ETH), Polygon (MATIC), Binance Coin (BNB), Phantom (FTM), and Avalanche (AVAX) supports for liquid staking. .
The Coinbase Wallet integration is thanks to its growing popularity among DeFi and Web3 enthusiasts. This wallet supports Ethereum, all his EVM compatible chains, Solana, and over 5,000 tokens.
This latest development will come in a few weeks Ankr launched Chainscanner block explorer for app-specific blockchains.
in September, Ankr has partnered with Polygon To boost the web3 building experience for supernet developers.
