US president of crypto exchange FTX, Brett Harrison, announced hours ago that he is stepping down. This latest development comes after Harrison has spent a year and a half spearheading the company’s growth.

Harrison revealed that he is transitioning to a corporate advisory role as FTX US expands its operations. He said;
I am stepping down as President of FTX US. Over the next few months, I will shift my responsibilities and move to an advisory role within the company. He emphasized that the acquisitions of LedgerX and Embed are some of the best moments that have allowed FTX US to expand its business and become one of the leading cryptocurrency exchanges in the United States.
Although he is transitioning to an advisory role, Harrison has said he has no intention of leaving the crypto space.

Harrison will step down from his role as president of FTX US about 24 hours after the cryptocurrency exchange announced its acquisition of Voyager Digital.
Voyager Digital announced that it has reached an agreement with FTX US for a transaction worth just over $1.4 billion. Voyager Digital’s acquisition by FTX US comes after winning a bankruptcy auction.
