Glassnode data analyzed by crypto slate Bitcoin (BTC) market share has surpassed 40% for the first time since July 2022.

The chart above shows the BTC market dominance since October 2020 with the orange line. BTC’s dominance reached 70% at the beginning of 2021. However, this proportion slipped to just over 40% in January 2022, and has only fallen further in the first half of this year.

Aside from a brief spike in late June when BTC reached 48% dominance, the dominance rate remained below 40%.

Six months after its first appearance on CryptoSlate, it has over 40% dominance in the post-BTC market.
