Coinbase Wallet revealed on Dec. 1 that Apple blocked the last application update and demanded 30% of all NFT transfer gas fees.

This is why users can no longer send NFTs via iPhones, according to the cryptocurrency wallet service provider.
Coinbase Wallet said Apple’s request was “clearly impossible” and that “Apple’s own in-app purchase system does not support crypto.
The crypto wallet service provider described Apple’s 30% request as “an attempt to cut fees.” For all e-mails sent over open Internet protocols. ”
Coinbase Wallet said:
“Apple introduced new policies to protect its profits at the expense of consumer investment in NFTs and developer innovation across the crypto ecosystem. ”
The crypto community has previously expressed Concern over Apple’s 30% cut to NFT sales from in-app purchases.
The company announced in October that it would allow developers to issue NFTs with their apps.
However, these NFTs cannot be used to unlock new features or content. Apple also says developers can optimize their apps to facilitate cryptocurrency trading only on licensed exchanges.
The crypto community reacted negatively to the news, with Epic Games CEO Tim Sweeney stating:Money is the only motive for Apple. ”
Apple’s 30% commission was introduced in 2008 by CEO Steve Jobs.technology company Developers earning less than $1 million a year receive a 15% discount.
