One of the largest U.S. exchanges is adding support for crypto assets, which play an important role in the Shiba Inu ecosystem.
Crypto.com has added Bone ShibaSwap (BONE) to its altcoin list lineup.
BONE, like Polygon (MATIC) on Ethereum (ETH), will be used to pay for gas in Shibarium, a highly anticipated Layer 2 project designed to make Shiba Inu more efficient.
It is also the native token of Shiba Swap, the Shiba Inu realm of decentralized finance (DeFi) and decentralized exchange (DEX).

Crypto.com’s BONE list comes as developers prepare for Shibarium’s impending beta launch. This allows developers to build scalable apps and launch custom tokens directly linked to the Shiba Inu community.
The release dates for both the beta and official versions of Shibarium have been the subject of debate, with Shytoshi Kusama, the project’s pseudonymous lead developer, providing definite dates to avoid disappointment due to potential delays. says no.
BONE has surged 90% since the beginning of the year. He’s also up 28% over the past 30 days, but he’s down 10% in the last week. The altcoin is trading at $1.68 at the time of publication, down 4.2% over the past 24 hours.
