Welcome to CryptoArt Sundays! Today we bring you something great AkunapieAku is a full-time visual artist who works with multiple styles of artwork including graffiti, comics, and manga.
I love Aku’s artwork, colorful, eccentric and fun. All of their creations encompass a wide variety of colors, themes, and styles, and bring a childlike sense of fun.
So, check out some of Aku’s cool art below and see what they have to say about their journey in NFT space!
How did you find out about the NFT space and what drew you to creating your own NFT?
I learned about NFTs through friends and websites that provide information and news about cryptography. I think it’s around the end of 2020, but I didn’t have the courage to join it right away. What intrigued me was the wide range of possibilities other people might have for my work. Collectors of my work may be thousands of kilometers away from me and still have access.

How often do you create them?
So far, I’m producing about 7-8 works every week. I practice every day to improve my style and skills.

what is your creative process?
My creative process starts with listening to songs and watching cartoons. After that, if I have an idea, I will draw a rough sketch digitally on my iPad. The rest is also done digitally.

Are there any CryptoArtists you would like to collaborate with?
I really admire the artists of BAYC and Cool Cats. Their artwork is also nice and looks recognizable.

What do you think the future of CryptoArt will look like?
I believe that many companies, brands and people will be interested in and participate in the future. Surely anything can happen with NFTs.

What are you working on now?
Since last year, I have been working towards the completion of the collection. My goal is 300 items in the collection. This is a 1/1, so progress is very slow. I think I have about 230 ready for now. In addition to that, we are also collaborating with others and exploring new NFT platforms.

Where can collectors find your work?
