We welcome art lovers from all over the world to CryptoArt Sundays. This week I am excited to introduce a very special and super talented artist. Erica Railing.
Erica is a New York City based professional artist and creator of the amazing NFT collection CryptoVenus featuring thousands of quirky goddesses. Her creativity has always been her passion and during the pandemic she eventually pursued her dream of helping others heal through art.
Let’s take a closer look at her art journey and her experiences in the world of NFT art so far!
How did you find out about the NFT space and what drew you to creating your own NFT?
I learned about NFT through a news segment in March 2021. Seeing men have a lot of success with NFTs, to see if I can create something that resonates as a woman and create a niche for people who are interested in what I want to create. I wanted a piece of pie.
When I first got involved with web3, I didn’t see much charity going on. And with so much money flowing into this space, I knew there was an opportunity to do something really good and have fun along the way.
How often do you create them?
Whether you’re painting in the studio, taking pictures with your camera or mobile phone… even on days when you need to focus on managing your business, just create a playlist or create a little flower arrangement to create your daily routine. doing. A way to add beauty to my day and discover something new. ABC, that’s my motto Always Be Creation
what is your creative process?
appear, appear, appear. Whatever comes out is what it’s meant to be even if it’s just a wiggle. I can do it.
Are there any CryptoArtists you would like to collaborate with?
Yam Kalkai would be great!! I also love Tyler Hobb’s work.
What do you think the future of CryptoArt will look like?
It changes with technology. Put on your VR headset and watch art in the Metaverse, and the possibilities are endless. Beyond that, I hope more women will be recognized and encouraged for their contributions. Better balance in space would be beautiful for everyone.
What are you working on now?
I am currently painting in my atelier and preparing for my solo exhibition at the end of October. It will take place in New York, but it will also take place in the Metaverse at the same time. This is very cool. How time is alive!
Where can collectors find your work?
upon super rare When high seas For NFTs, Instagram and me website for physical labor.
