Following the hugely successful success of his ‘The Currency’ project, the highly successful artist, Damien Hirst, will find itself again on the blockchain. This time, featured in a video NFT, the artist embarks on gleeful and spiteful destruction.
In a long-forgotten realm 12 years ago, Mr. Hirst took part in a literally record-breaking art event.As a result, linking with prolific buskers Daniel Spiller To destroy his masterpiece with the “Broken Record Project”.
Within an interesting frame, the anarchic artist used some random tools to destroy the musician’s work. Thus, while being serenaded by Spiller inside one of the world’s most expensive hotels, “Claridge’s,” wield the tools of dreadful doom, including a hammer, several fire tongs, and a log.
But now, incredible footage has resurfaced, making blockchain beelines and ready to change hands to be the highest bidder in a classic-style auction. It’s unclear if Marketplace will host the event. One thing is certain, though, Spiller took inspiration from Damien’s The Currency project to immortalize his film as his NFT.
