Rupert Barksfield, founder of Amulet Protocol, had an informative sit down with Cryptoslate, about launching Solana’s first DeFi Insurance platform. Regarding Solana’s notorious downtime, Barksfield referenced Solana’s present state with the early development of Ethereum. He pointed out that the fact that Ethereum customers have “seen significant outagesbecause of the launch of Crypto Kitties, DAO, and watchedthe entire chain collapsing on many occasions” should make Solana’s users a little tolerant and forgiving of issues.
In the twenty-three minutes interview, Barksfield does a great job explaining DeFi insurance. He explained how it will help shield customers from events that have plagued crypto for the past few months.
