Singapore-based digital asset exchange Crypto.com is adding support for another low-cap decentralized finance (DeFi) altcoin.
Exchange customers can now trade the native tokens of Ribbon Finance (RBN), a suite of DeFi protocols aimed at giving users access to cryptocurrency products.
RBN is trading at $0.34 at the time of writing. The 179th-ranked crypto asset by market capitalization is down more than 3.5% in the last 24 hours and more than 9% in the last 7 days. It is also down more than 93% from its all-time high of $5.54 set in October 2021.
According to the project websiteRibbon Finance is a combination of derivatives, lending and on-chain options exchange.
Coinbase, the top US cryptocurrency exchange, launched trading services for RNB late last year. In February, the exchange also began offering cryptocurrency custody services through the Coinbase Custody Cold Storage Trust.
Despite facing public headwinds in recent months, Crypto.com continues to expand its roster of tradable crypto assets.a report Ad Age magazine in October indicated that the exchange had laid off more than 2,000 employees.
The figure was much higher than the estimate provided by Crypto.com CEO Kris Marszalek in early June.Marzarek Said on Twitter when the exchange laid off 260 people, or about 5% of the company’s workforce.
