Anyone who follows international news has heard of the American whistleblower. Edward SnowdenA controversial figure, he revealed in 2013 that his home country’s National Security Agency (NSA) was spying on its citizens. Since then, he has lived in Russia and remains a polarizing figure in world politics.
Now, almost a decade later, he’s unveiling a new project in the NFT world, using assets created with fellow political activist and whistleblower Daniel Ellsberg.

It’s worth noting that this is not the first NFT project, as Snowden previously sold an asset called “Stay Free” in April 2021. with him. Now, nearly two years after him, they host a livestream called “PleasrHouse” with his two whistleblowers, culminating in a live sale of NFTs. The team will then use the proceeds to fund Snowden’s and Ellsberg’s respective causes.

A new asset, “Would you like to go to jail to end this war?” was inspired by Ellsberg’s leaked Pentagon Papers in the 1970s. The first episode of the live stream will air on January 12, 2022 at 3:00 PM EST and will feature the auction of this new asset.
“We were working on the Web3 auction house and this piece was perfect for the first episode,” said Chris Eberle, Head of Marketing at PleasrDAO.
