FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried hinted in a tweet on October 23 that the exchange may list Cardano ADA for spot trading.
Absolutely not!

According to SBF, FTX International has ADA perpetual contracts listed and the addition of spot ADA is part of the exchange’s roadmap.
SBF released the statement in response to Cardano investors who said FTX refused to list their digital assets.
SBF Reveals Why FTX Hasn’t Listed Cardano Yet
Bankman-Fried said the exchange did not deliberately avoid listing ADA. He said the exchange did not list the token because it would have been easier to list it on a blockchain that it already supports, citing ERC20 tokens as an example.
He continued that exchanges will need a good Cardano validator to analyze deposits and withdrawals before listing ADA.
When pressed by the community about when the exchange will list ADA, SBF told people who thought he was lying to bet on whether FTX would list spot ADA within the next three months. Begged.
Hmm, if you think I’m lying, would you bet 1:1 on whether FTX will list an ADA spot in the next 3 months?

Cardano investors don’t believe in SBF
Some Cardano investors disagreed with SBF, saying it was hard to believe the exchange would list ADA given SBF’s repeated talks about ADA.
one investor share In a Business Insider interview with the FTX founder in September 2021, the crypto billionaire said Cardano is one of the key blockchains his exchange will list.
Others pointed out that FTX listed the new Aptos APT token shortly after its launch, but not the top 10 cryptocurrency ADA.
Some Cardano supporters further claimed that FTX listed ADA perpetual contracts so that they could manipulate the price and sell the token short.
you listed $NEAR & $APT Before listing $ADA spot. Of course, we have listed the futures contract so that we can short the Cardano price.
I’ll believe it when I see the spot list.Otherwise it looks like VCbs pic.twitter.com/Z9VqMZROy7

Cardano enjoys strong community support
Even without an FTX listing, ADA enjoys tremendous community support from the crypto space.
In January, Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin poll As for the preferred currency for the ETH community in the absence of ETH, ADA has the highest voter turnout, ahead of Bitcoin (BTC), Solana (SOL), and the US dollar.
Ethereum Community Voting. Wake up to 2035 and 80% of all transactions + savings in the world will be in one currency that is not ETH. Which would you like to choose?

However, this strong community support has yet to translate into positive asset prices. ADA is trading below $1 and has lost more than 20% of its value over the past 30 days.
At the time of writing, it is trading at $0.36 after gaining about 4% over the past 24 hours, according to CryptoSlate data.
It’s been over a year since you already said this.
