Ethereum (ETH) challenger Cardano (ADA)s long-awaited Vasil hard fork upgrade setting The developers plan to use the new feature by next week, and it will be rolled out today.
Input Output Hong Kong (IOHK) and its CEO Charles Hoskinson Say Be ready to start updating the mainnet.
“Joint [Input Output Global] When [Cardano Foundation] The team will use a hard fork combinator to deploy Vasil at the protocol level on September 22nd. The new feature will be available to developers on mainnet on September 27th, just one epoch later.
Hoskinson, who co-created ADA, previously said Vasil’s hard fork should mark the next step in Cardano’s evolution and improve its utility and scalability.

It’s a crazy mission, and while it feels vast in scope, Vasil, scheduled for September 22nd, makes it feel much more achievable.
This upgrade has led many prominent crypto analysts such as Michael van de Poppe and Benjamin Cowen to predict the rise of smart contract platforms. Cowen said the ADA expects him to reach $0.60, but Vandepoppe said a $1.00 price tag is not out of the question.

ADA is trading at $0.45 at the time of writing and is up 1.2% for the day.
