Micah Johnson and AHA Raise Awareness via NFTs

Former baseball player turned prolific NFT artist, mica johnsonpartnered with American Heart Association (AHA) helps raise awareness through NFTs. The initiative, which takes place during American Heart Month, aims to raise awareness of cardiovascular disease and promote healthy living for all people around the world.

NFT sales start tomorrow mainfold.xyz, an NFT mining platform, will end on February 4th. Each piece sells for 0.03 ETH, or $47 at the time of writing, with 50% of the proceeds going to his AHA.

Johnson is a former professional baseball player turned renowned digital artist. His work has been critically acclaimed, prompting Fortune magazine to include him in its top 50 list of NFT’s most influential people.

The former baseball player lost his grandfather to the disease in 2015, so he says the initiative is close and dear to his heart. In his statement he said: “With a family history of heart disease, the idea that a character I created would promote awareness and hopefully help my family, and perhaps even myself, is incredibly humbling.
