Milkomeda, a Layer 2 solution built to enhance user experience and developer traction and provide next-generation blockchain interoperability to key Layer 1 ecosystems, will be held in August 2022. We are accepting the first DAO hackathon application. press release.
Building next-generation DAOs for Cardano
The two-week hackathon will bring together developers from around the world to build a next-generation Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO) for the Cardano ecosystem that leverages the Milkomeda sidechain.
As a Project Catalyst initiative, the total prize pool will be $ 45,000.
Five Challenges to Complete DAO Protocol
Hackathon participants can participate as a team or individually using programming languages such as JavaScript, Typescript, and Solidity.
This event will include five challenges: DAO UI, DAO Tools, Social DAO, DeFi DAO, and Bootstrap DAO. The goal of each challenge is to improve the existing DAO protocol, extend UX, and allow the developer community to build creative tools.
The hackathon invites web3 developers interested in building new tools and solutions for Cardano’s decentralized governance. Judgments include technical implementation, design, potential future impact, development, and suggestions.
Supported by Solana and Coinbase
Milcomeda is backed by investors such as Arlington Capital, Solana Capital and Coinbase.
