Most Expensive NFT Artworks Sold

NFTs have been around for a while, but in 2021 they didn’t get mainstream attention. However, the market has grown significantly since then. They have exciting potential but are widely known for their expensive sales and celebrity recruitment. I’m here.

PFP NFTs are currently the most popular NFTs. They also enjoy the most mainstream attention and population due to their massive sales.

What are NFT works?

NFT artwork is an NFT of artwork placed on the blockchain. Converting them to NFTs adds credibility to your artwork and makes it easier to verify ownership.

Converting them to NFTs does not mean that the artwork is stored on the blockchain. Instead, NFTs hold information about the artwork and issue a token ID unique to the artwork. Artwork is then stored on the blockchain and ownership and sales are recorded accordingly.

Unlike traditional artwork, using NFTs to sell artwork is more lucrative for artists. With NFTs, artists no longer rely on galleries and introduce a favorable royalty scheme for artists. So it’s no surprise that the NFT artwork quickly gained attention and adoption.

As with any traditional art piece, we don’t know the value of NFT artwork. I can see how much someone is willing to pay, but since their rise NFT art sales have repeatedly broken records.
