The NEAR Foundation, a Swiss non-profit that supports the growth and governance of the NEAR Protocol, has published a shortlist of Web3 Changemakers 2022 finalists. The women on this list are considered the final top 10, according to press release.
Hundreds of women from all over the world applied for the contest. Her DAO Council of NEAR selected the finalists after considering all public nominations received. The judging criteria were comprehensiveness, impact and innovation.
The best candidates have sustainable, socially impactful ideas and contribute to socially beneficial projects, whether independent or at work. It also influences the community and among peers.
The list was produced in partnership with Forkast, a global digital media platform covering digital assets, blockchain and web3 at the intersection of politics, economy and business.
This is to celebrate the achievements of women in Web3 and to present role models for women in the ecosystem. All publicly selected candidates are included on the Women in Web3 Changemakers list.
This list will be shared with the global community and media during the week of NEAR’s unique annual event, NEARCON, in Lisbon, Portugal this September. Candidates also fly to events.
A special series featuring Changemakers will air across all Forkast platforms and their distribution networks. This series will showcase each winner’s contribution to Web3 and its story.
Founders of Web3 companies on the list can meet investors at the event and participate in the fundraising pitch.
