PagoNxt, a payments fintech run by Banco Santander, has appointed Olatz Urroz as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Urroz will begin his new role in December. She joined the company from her Amazon and since 2019 has worked as VP of Finance covering verticals including Robotics & Automation, Real Estate & Products, and Customer Assurance.
Prior to joining Amazon, he was Finance Director for Technology and Group Functions at Vodafone in the UK from 2017-2019.
Urroz also spent 15 years at General Electric, followed by 2 years at Brand Energy and Infrastructure Services as VP Finance International Operations, and has held numerous finance and audit positions in the UK, Italy, US and Spain.
PagoNxt CEO Javier San Flix said Urroz’s “attitude and ambition are closely aligned with our values at PagoNxt”.
PagoNxt develops and operates all payment businesses in Santander for merchants, businesses, small businesses and consumers. The company reported his earnings of 655 million in the third quarter of 2022.
Following the appointment of Kush Saxena as CEO of PagoNxt Merchant Solutions in May, the appointment further strengthens the company’s C suite. PagoNxt Merchant Solutions operates a merchant acquisition business under the Getnet brand.
