One of the first things to notice in Cass’s work is the use of replication. For example, one of his works called “His 3-Meter Board Viewed from the Side, Experiment” is a compilation of dozens of people jumping into a pool at the same time. This style of dozens of single subjects in one photograph is found throughout Kath’s work and is accomplished with surfboards, balls and even people walking down the street.
