Sacramento Kings NBA Team Releases NFTs

If there’s one type of NFT collection you see a lot these days, it’s the one released by a sports team.

The newest sports entity to join NFT Action is Sacramento Kings, an American basketball team. The team recently announced the release of his second NFT collection.

Collection details

This second NFT collection is Laidback Lions, developed by a web3 company called Ankr. The NFT includes 8 images of him of his team mascot, Slamson. In total he has 79 of his NFTs sold for $500 each and 1 rare gold NFT up for auction with bids starting at his $5,000. These NFTs are scheduled to start casting on August 31, 2022. magic eden.

This is the second NFT product offered by the team, following the launch of Laidback Lion in December 2021. According to Lions management, the initial positive response led to the release of a follow-up.
