Speaking on Twitter Space on Dec. 12, Sam Bankman-Fried said: Senate Hearings” December 14th. Earlier, the SBF confirmed that he was prepared to speak before Congress. However, recent revelations show that he is “open” if the Senate believes it is important for him to attend.

The SBF has previously been summoned by the Banking Commission and declared that it “must attend” a December 13 hearing. Commission chair Sherrod Brown wrote that if the SBF did not honor the invitation, a subpoena would be issued. At this time, it is unclear whether SBF will continue to attend his December 13th House Financial Services Committee hearing.
