Recently, Ubisoft downplayed its involvement in NFT while working in the shadows. Apparently, in an attempt to calm the wave of anger, they are also investigating applications for Web3 technology. This makes for an impressive juggling act that has so far worked to astonishing effect on the giant of tactical games.
Both Take-Two and Ubisoft played key roles in Horizon’s latest funding round, while Brevan Howard Digital and Morgan Creek Digital are other key backers such as Polygon, Bitkraft and Everyrealm. led the show with Going forward, the team will use this funding to develop and grow his Skyweaver, power the Niftyswap marketplace, and deploy the Web3 developer platform and wallet, Sequence.
