Yuga Labs warn users about Mailchimp data breach

Yuga Labs notified the community on January 19th that accounts with email service provider Mailchimp were compromised in a recent data breach.

An “unauthorized actor” may have accessed data in your Yuga Labs account. However, according to Yuga Labs, there is no evidence that the account’s data was exported.

NFT Company Said The compromised accounts contained information from an email campaign involving a “limited number of people.” The company stressed that Mailchimp accounts are strictly used for email communication and not NFT Mint.

Bored Ape NFT developers added that they are making this statement as a precautionary measure to fore-warn users. Affected users will be contacted via another email address.

“For the record, no surprise mints, and we will never send you a DM to request confidential information.”

Yuga Labs urged its community to always check all announcements through official sources.
